How would you like to be called a philanthropist? Definition: One who makes an active effort to promote human welfare (Webster), “love of humanity” (Wikipedia). This is how….
May 6, 2014 at noon (not one minute after) the 2014 Giving Challenge begins and continues through May 7, 2014 at noon. TWENTY FOUR HOURS ONLY! This challenge is made possible by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, The Patterson Foundation, Manatee Community Foundation, John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, William G. and Marie Selby Foundation and the Charlotte Community Foundation.
Everyday Blessings, Inc. is among 400 non-profits working hard to get the word out about this exciting Challenge, but most of all we are hoping for your support.
The Patterson Foundation’s generous contribution of the matching dollars (for new and increased gifts up to $1,000 per person per organization) is now $450,000! Let me say that again! $450,000. This may sound like a lot of money (and it is) but it goes FAST! Remember, the $450,000 is matching dollars only. The Challenge is for 24hours. It does not stop once the $450,000 is gone. It just means your donation will not be matched. We have to be prepared and ready on May 6th at noon.
With this new information we have given you, this is what we need for you to do…. Spread the word about this exciting Challenge! Check it out on The Community Foundation of Sarasota’s website cfsarasota.org.
More information on how to give on May 6th (at noon) to come. Stay tuned…..
