We are so proud to share this awesome news of our Springboard resident Sara being honored with The Triumph Award by the Florida Guardian ad Litem Foundation. These are the type of kids that Springboard serves who demonstrate that with just a little help, they can accomplish great things. CONGRATULATIONS Sara!

In the 2 months that Sara has been in our Springboard program, she’s achieved so many milestones:
High school graduation Drivers license First (& new!) car
Sara lived in a group home for 3 years prior to coming to Springboard. She is our youngest resident at 18 and just finished high school at Braden River. She is planning on starting classes at SCF in the fall. She’ll be going to school full time while continuing her part time job that she’s been at for the last 2 years. We are so proud of Sara and her determination. We have no doubt there are going to be even more accomplishments to come as she keeps seizing every opportunity!
Our Springboard program is located in Sarasota and serves kids who have aged out of foster care or youth from the community who face similar circumstances. We currently have 6 young adults (ages 18-22) utilizing our services to move forward & gain their independence. We are working on expanding Springboard into the Bradenton & Tampa areas to accommodate even more youth who are in need of assistance. Visit www.SpringBoardSRQ.org or contact Jordan @ 941.356.2977 for more information about the program.

We’d like to introduce you to Lesly, our newest Springboard Sarasota resident. She moved to the US just 4 years ago from Guatemala and is currently working full time & taking courses in English. She plans on starting school to pursue a nursing degree as soon as she completes her English lessons??
She is also very excited to have passed her driver’s test to get her license… And even more excited to have just gotten her very first car‼️?? She saved up for a big down payment and with help from Sunset Chevrolet Buick GMC, she was able to get a great deal on this beautiful Chevy Cruze!
We’re glad you’ve joined our SpringBoard program Lesly and look forward to seeing all your next big accomplishments?
